CALVIN ABE, ASIA
Calvin Abe brings to the firm over 23 years of professional experience in a wide range of landscape architectural and urban design projects. The scale, variety, and complexity of these projects has provided him with expertise in many project types, including civic spaces, parks, schools and institutions, single-family and multi-unit housing, and large mixed-use commercial developments, corporate headquarters, and office parks.
Calvin Abe is noted for his ability to transform conceptual design ideas into creative and artful built forms. He has received over 20 design awards from the American Society of Landscape Architecture, American Institute of Architects, Urban Beautification Council of Los Angeles, and County of Los Angeles. He has been published in both national and international publications including, Landscape Architecture Magazine, Tasarim-Turkey, LA Architect, Art News, and Garden Design Magazine.
In addition to practicing landscape architecture, Calvin is a part-time instructor for a design studios at UCLA and lectures at both California Polytechnic University, Pomona and San Luis Obispo, University of Southern California, and Harvard Graduate School of Design.
